This website ("ArtDeptStudios.com") is owned and operated by Art Dept Studios, LLC. Art Dept Studios is dedicated to maintaining the privacy of our customers and website users (collectively "Users"). We have posted this privacy policy ("Policy") to describe our practices regarding the collection and use of information gathered through ArtDeptStudios.com. This Policy applies only to Users accessing ArtDeptStudios.com from within the United States and is effective as of August 30, 2017. We invite you to review this page as we may update this Policy periodically. All changes will go into effect on the date that is posted in our Policy. The new Policy will apply to all past and current users of ArtDeptStudios.com and will replace any prior Policies. Note: You must be a US resident 18 years or older to register as a customer or use ArtDeptStudios.com.

The Information We Collect and How We Use It

Art Dept Studios, LLC does not collect personally identifiable information from individuals unless provided to us voluntarily and knowingly. We don't require Users to register or provide information to us to view our site. We do not store credit numbers. You will be prompted to enter your credit card information only when registering for a class, camp or club through our booking agent Get Occasion. When you register for a class, camp or club with us via ArtDeptStudios.com, we collect the following information about you: name, address, phone number, email address, billing information including credit card number and expiration date as well as the names, addresses and phone numbers of gift recipients (if any). We use your name, address, phone number, billing information/credit card information to process your order or otherwise described in this privacy policy. The email address you provide is used for internal purposes, such as confirming your order or otherwise as described in this privacy policy. By agreeing to the terms and conditions at the time of booking we may also contact you via email or regular mail from time-to-time to keep you up-to-date on the latest Art Dept Studios, LLC.com news or to send you information on new products and promotions. We will not share your email address with third parties. We will only disclose your personally identifiable information when we believe the law requires it. If a Customer wishes to have their account deleted, the Customer can send an email requesting the deletion to info@ArtDeptStudios.com.

Opting Out

If you would rather not receive marketing emails from us, please opt out by sending an email to info@ArtDeptStudios.com. and entering "Opt Out" in the subject line. Include your mailing address in the email if you would rather not receive any Art Dept Studios’ mailings to your postal address. Please allow 4 weeks for your choice to become effective.

Camp Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds or pro-rating for missed classes. ​- If WE cancel a session due to low enrollment, we will notify you five days before the start of that session and issue a full refund. - If YOU need to cancel for any reason, we would first encourage you to simply move registration to another session date (pending availability).  However, we understand that things come up so therefore please note our camp cancellation policy: * If you cancel 30 days prior to start of scheduled session, we'll issue a refund minus a $40 cancellation fee. * If you need to cancel 30-14 days prior to the start of a scheduled session, we can issue a 50% refund in the form of store credit. * NO refunds or credits will be given if you cancel less than 14 days to the start of the enrolled session.


Kids Clubs and Adult Classes Cancellation Policy: All clay projects require kiln firing and you’ll be notified when projects will be available for pick up, typically 10-14 days after the class/event. Payment is required in full up front to hold your space. If we have to cancel due to low enrollment, we’ll notify you as soon as possible (usually within 48 hours of the event) and will be provided a full refund. In the case of having to cancel the class due to inclement weather, we will reschedule the class and notify you as soon as we’ve made the decision to cancel. If you have to cancel your registration, we can reschedule you into another class (pending availability) or issue you a refund in the form of store credit. 6% sales tax will be added to all classes, camps and events. 


Party Cancellation Policy: We will notify you when fired projects are available for pick up, typically 10-14 days after the party/class/event. 6% sales tax will be added to all parties, classes, camps and events. A non-refundable $50 deposit is due at time of booking, and will be deducted from your total the day of the event. If you must reschedule your party, we can transfer your deposit to another date (pending availability) at no charge with 1 week notice. If you need to cancel completely, you will receive your deposit back in the form of Art Dept. Studio store credit as long as we are given 1 week notice. If less than 1 week notice is provided, no refunds can be given. Parties are scheduled for 90 minutes unless otherwise noted. Artists make their projects during the first hour and take part in food/cake festivities during the last half hour of the reserved time. We welcome food into our studio. Please bring your own paper products, cake knife, candles, etc. unless you choose to make your party Deluxe (add-on the Deluxe Party at checkout). Gratuity is not included but is very appreciated by our hardworking staff. There is a SIX guest minimum to reserve any party, and to receive party package pricing.
